7-Zip plugins\KsiZip7z

KsiZip7z is a 7-Zip plugin designed to open and extract KSIZIP format archives. These files were originally created by the Native Install software by HumanWare Ltd. (PulseData) and contain KeySoft operating system components and updates for legacy BrailleNote/VoiceNote assistive devices.

Installation

The KsiZip7z distribution package is an ordinary Zip archive that contains the following three files:

  • KsiZip.64.dll – the 64-bit version of the plugin
  • KsiZip.32.dll – the 32-bit version of the plugin
  • ReadMe.txt – the user instructions

To install the plugin, create a subfolder named "Formats" inside the 7-Zip installation folder. Then, copy KsiZip7z.64.dll or KsiZip7z.32.dll (depending on your 7-Zip architecture) into that subfolder. Once installed, 7-Zip will automatically detect the plugin on startup and use it to open Native Install installation packages.
